Methodology
What the labels mean
The monitor uses documented source, timing, and topical rules. It preserves the prior successful public state when an update is partial or fails.
Discovery
Public metadata are checked against the enabled source registry on a documented schedule.
Topical fit
Labels reflect deterministic topical rules only. They are not a quality assessment.
Text policy
Metadata and original links are the default. A short source-provided excerpt appears only when that source has an explicit public reuse basis.
Failure retention
A partial or failed update does not replace the prior successful selection with an empty page.
